Can you convert my AI Logo into a print-ready logo?
The answer is yes.. but…..
Lately, I’ve had many enquiries about using AI designed logos. Within seconds Ai is pumping out what look like great designs…. or are they?
Many AI logo generators produce impressive concepts, but they rarely provide the professional files required for printing, signage, embroidery or large format graphics. If you've created a logo using ChatGPT, Canva AI or another AI tool, I can professionally redraw it as a clean vector logo ready for commercial use.
I decided to ‘design’ a logo in Chat GPT and this is what happened….
Looks good, right?
At first they look great, but the problems begin when you try to use these designs in the real world... let me explain…
Scaling
Try and enlarge an Ai generated logo and it will lose clarity and appear blurry. This is because most AI generated logos aren’t vector, so by increasing size you are losing all those (once) nice details.
Over Complicated
Too many elements, too much visual noise and no clear focus. Ai loves to over design which means it’s impossible to reproduce these designs on uniforms, vehicles and signage...
Typography Problems
Ai uses fonts that don’t actually exist. They are warped, inconsistent and fake. This makes them hard to reproduce and lacks brand consistency.
Only a single file?
A well designed logo suite is more than just a single picture. You will get:
Horizontal, stacked and icon variations
Colour and mono versions
Consistent spacing rules
File types for web and print
Limitations for Print
All those lovely details won’t reproduce well. Fine lines will completely disappear in embroidery or vinyl cut stickers. Detailed gradients won’t print well on certain materials and the colour palettes are extensive (and expensive!)
Thoughts?
It’s a pretty picture, not a logo. Ai will generate great ideas with lots of details but they’re generally horrible to execute.
